Unleashed + Upstock Integration

Upstock is a B2B wholesale ordering and payments platform built specifically for the food, beverage, and FMCG industry. It connects suppliers with wholesale buyers, including foodservice operators, retailers, and supermarkets, and provides digital tools to automate order management, payments, logistics, and customer communication. Upstock was co-founded by Philip Fierlinger, co-founder of Xero, and is used by dozens of successful food and beverage brands across Australia and New Zealand. 

Upstock is designed for food, beverage, and FMCG suppliers who sell wholesale to foodservice operators (cafes, restaurants, hotels), retail stores, and supermarkets. It's particularly valuable for suppliers who are still managing wholesale orders manually, by phone, email, or spreadsheet and want to give their buyers a professional digital ordering experience while automating the back-end admin. 

No. Upstock does not charge upfront setup fees or take commissions on orders from suppliers. It offers free order handling for both buyers and suppliers, with advanced order management functionality available for a minimal fee. This is a significant differentiator from marketplace platforms that take a percentage of every transaction. 

Buyers can order however they prefer, via the Upstock mobile app, email, PDF order forms, or through supermarket portals. All of these order sources are centralised into one automated workflow in Upstock, so regardless of how a customer places their order, it ends up in the same place and flows into Unleashed the same way. 

Upstock automatically imports your price lists from Unleashed, including price tiers and customer-level pricing. Price lists in Upstock are created based on your Unleashed pricing structure, and Upstock automatically checks and syncs prices from Unleashed once a day or when you match a customer. This means your wholesale pricing is always consistent between both systems without manual updates. 

Yes. Upstock is designed to handle enterprise customers and their complex ordering requirements, multiple delivery addresses, custom pricing, standing orders, and more without adding operational complexity on your side. The integration with Unleashed means these complex orders still flow into your inventory system automatically, regardless of their complexity. 

Once you approve an order in Upstock, a sales order is automatically created in Unleashed with the correct customer, products, and pricing. You then fulfil the order in Unleashed as you normally would. Note that once an order is approved in Upstock, subsequent changes to the order in either system won't sync back, so it's important to finalise order details before approving. 

Yes. Upstock is designed for high-volume wholesale operations. You can bulk-process hundreds of daily orders with a click, across all your wholesale customers. Combined with Unleashed's order management capabilities, this makes the integration well-suited to suppliers with large customer bases and high daily order volumes. 

Yes. Upstock integrates with Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks in addition to Unleashed. For Unleashed users, the recommended flow is: orders come in through Upstock → flow into Unleashed as sales orders → Unleashed connects to your accounting software (Xero or QuickBooks) for invoicing and financial reporting.
