This post has been updated to reflect the latest user interface and features.
Thanks to your feedback, we have developed two new features that will enhance the Xero and Unleashed integration and give you more insights for managing your business!
Set credit limits for customers
Does your sales team know if the customer has any outstanding invoices? Without the visibility over outstanding invoices, you’re putting your business at the risk of bad debt by overselling to customers.
You can now keep tighter control over outstanding invoices in Unleashed and Xero by setting credit limits for customers. This feature automatically syncs and updates the value of outstanding customer invoices from Xero.
Once a credit limit is set, you’ll have better visibility over the amount owed by each customer. This will help you decide whether you want to continue their line of credit.
Configuring Tracking Categories in Unleashed
Xero’s Tracking Categories eliminates the need to add multiple account codes — this makes for easier reporting, especially around the end of the financial year. You can use this feature to:
- Categorise sales and purchases into groups by sales channels, departments, regions and more
- Gain clarity over specific expenses and drill down on financial reports
- Examine how different areas of your business are performing
- Make proactive business decisions
As a business owner, you don’t have time to spare manually categorising sales invoices and purchase invoices in Xero.
Now, you can configure Xero’s tracking categories to automatically match what’s entered into Unleashed. With each purchase and sales order made in Unleashed, the tracking category will also be displayed in your Xero sales invoices or purchase orders.
Reporting across both platforms is now easier than ever so you can spend more time making sales and fulfilling orders, not doing administrative tasks.
