Performance improvements, a message from the Unleashed CEO

Hello valued Unleashed users,

I would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by recent performance issues. Namely, two significant events that caused an unacceptably slow response time, as well as a complete outage with our hosting provider. It is our view that any outage or performance-impacting event is simply not good enough for our customers.

The severity of these events has given us cause to prioritise our impending move to Rackspace.

We are currently testing the Rackspace environment and fine-tuning it in order to maximise performance from the hardware. Our hope is that with this move and some re-engineering of the core architecture, the results will be significant speed and performance improvements for our customers.

Over the coming weeks, we aim to have the Rackspace environment fully tested, so we can migrate selected BETA users over. If you would like your company to be part of the BETA environment at Rackspace, please email to register your interest.

Again, I sincerely apologise for the recent performance issues. Rest assured we are not being complacent and are working around the clock to migrate our systems to the world’s most trusted hosting provider.
