You may be aware that the OpenSSL project issued a Security Advisory that detailed a serious vulnerability in the encryption software in use by a large percentage of the internet. This vulnerability (nicknamed “Heartbleed”) would potentially allow attackers to retrieve information from encrypted SSL endpoints.
I thought it prudent to assure you that none of our customer facing equipment is using the vulnerable software and as such, your Unleashed Software data is not at risk.
We take security and threats to security very seriously, and took this opportunity to re-assess all of our security protocols.
