We’ve made some highly anticipated changes to our Document Designer. Now you’ll have greater flexibility to edit your Document Designer templates in Unleashed.
Change page orientation
The hotly requested feature is now here! You can now select if you want your document to be oriented landscape or portrait to better suit your business’ needs. You’ll find this feature accessible from the “Template” tab.
Control Document Designer elements
Now you can select multiple elements and move them around the document, saving time when creating your templates. To get each element perfectly in place, you can use your keyboard arrows to perfectly position each element. If you want to automatically align each component, you can use the auto-align feature to snap each component to the left, right, top or bottom. Our new improvements also allows you to select the colour and width of borders around each element.
Barcodes make inventory management more efficient. Our added barcode support allows you to embed a barcode as an image into your template! The Doc Designer supports multiple types of barcodes, but they are only available on Sales Order, Packing Slip, Ship Note and Picklist templates. Read this help file for a step-by-step guide to adding barcodes to your Doc Designer templates.
Header and Footer
You can now create your own headers and footers on your document templates by simply dragging and dropping your elements into the header or footer. This enhanced feature keeps your documents consistent and cohesive throughout Unleashed!
- Add borders to each component and change the styles
- Export document templates in .json format and import into a second account
- Select paper size (A4 or Letter) for your template
- Add page numbers to templates
- Control the number of decimal points shown in the grid for quantities and prices
Here are some tips and trick on how to use these new enhancements
