As we count down to Xerocon Auckland 2014, there’s an exciting event to tide us over. Our CEO Gareth Berry will be speaking at the CloudBuilder event on Wednesday Feb 19 (register here), shedding light on the realities and opportunities of developing in the cloud.

Along with Vend and Xero, Unleashed has its own API (application programming interface). These portals enable custom integrations to be created so that customers can extend on the capabilities of the software and add in extra features to fit with their particular processes and needs.

Custom integrations are created by a growing number of cloud solutions specialists. Auckland-based FeatureIT is one such specialist. They’ve been working on a raft of unique projects that harness the power of Unleashed as an inventory engine, along with bespoke functions. An example of one such project is a module for building doors. The custom interface makes a complicated process much more simple and streamlined as the measurements must fall within pre-determined parameters to be accepted by the system. Stock is pulled from Unleashed and a bill of materials is created with all of the required components.

To learn more about the exciting options that cloud-based applications and custom integrations present, head along to the free event at Vend’s Newmarket office on Wednesday the 19th of Feb. Register here.
