Unleashed Aussie Team Giving Back This Xmas Season
Here at Unleashed we care about the health and wellbeing of our staff and we like to do what we can to give back to the community we live in. By volunteering time or giving back to society has amazing health benefits and gives those involved a sense of purpose.
As part of the Xero Australia Small Business App of the Year we have recently won, we were awarded $500 and we’ve decided to use this opportunity to get involved with our Aussie community!
In the past, we’ve gotten involved with Breast Cancer Awareness, Eat My Lunch, the Ronald McDonald House, have been a long time supporter of the FredHollows foundation and much more.
A present under every tree
We’re taking this opportunity to take part in the Salvation Army’s Wishing Tree Appeal. The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal is Australia’s largest and longest-running Christmas gift appeal. This initiative has collected more than 8 million gifts for those in need.
Set out with our gift card, mission and a shopping basket, we each gathered Christmas gifts that would be enjoyed by those who would normally go without. This is the season of giving!
Here are some shots of our Aussie team in action!
“I wish our little gesture brings the biggest smile on the faces of these lovely children” Vandana, Customer Engagement Consultant at Unleashed Software.
“Nothing makes me feel like a kid like frantically grabbing things off the shelves in a toy shop! This outing brought back all that joy and was so much fun! Plus giving it all to kids in need – what could be better!?” Miles Bennett, Software Developer
