If you are looking for some super comfy clothing, try bamboo. Did you know that bamboo fabric is actually softer, and more breathable, than cotton? And apparently it feels just like silk or cashmere!

We’re really happy to be working with Witjuti, and even happier that this Aussie business using Unleashed for their clothing inventory management!

What does your business do?

clothing inventory management

Witjuti design and manufacture clothing specializing in bamboo fabrics for Men and Women.

What’s one of your favorite clothing products?

My favorite product is our women’s lounge pants.

Why do you think your customers like this product so much?

The pants are versatile and comfortable. They can be worn as travel pants on long flights, for yoga, for maternity, working or lounging at home. We also have lounge pants for men, too.

Can you give us a brief history of your business and the growth it has experienced so far?

Witjuti started in 2010 as just a women’s loungewear range, and then launched a men’s range in 2011. Starting from selling at local Sydney markets, Witjuti is now available in boutique stores throughout Australia and in 2014 we expanded to Norway.

How is Unleashed helping your business grow?

Unleashed has helped us manage our inventory a lot more specific to styles/colors etc. Also with selling via retail, wholesale and distributors it helps us manage pricing structures a lot better than our previous systems.

What is a particular problem that Unleashed has solved?

Managing the inventory with some shipments leaving direct from our factory in China, and other stock arriving in the warehouse, it has been much easier to manage this with the multiple warehouse set up.

Is there something you are particularly excited for your business right now?

We are currently designing many new styles and a kids/babies range.

Is there something your business in particularly proud of?

We are very proud of having a great international distributor for the past 2 years.

Are there any particular not-for-profit causes that you, or your business is passionate about, and why?

We are passionate about World Wildlife Fund and have adopted a Giant Panda through the WWF organization. Many people think by using bamboo as our main source, they think we are taking the food away from the Pandas, but in fact we LOVE Pandas – and they actually don’t eat the type of Bamboo grown that is used for the fabric.
